Please try the steps bellow to cheque the result.
one. Use private browsing mode or other browsers to see if you lot can access SharePoint properly. If this works, the issue should be related to your browser caches, please delete the caches/cookies of your browser.
2. Attempt to access below URLs to clear APP Launcher session caches. Please change the tenant to you tenant's proper name. For case: https://contoso.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/clearlocalcache.aspx
https://tenant.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/clearlocalcache.aspx
https://tenant-my.sharepoint.com/_layouts/xv/clearlocalcache.aspx
Annotation: You volition meet a page showing "This is a folio for clearing localStorage and sessionStorage caches". This indicates that the cache clearing process is underway in the groundwork. There is no dedicated carte option and progress bar here.
iii. Add the following sites to the "Trusted sites" zone in IE > Internet Options > Security .
https://*.microsoftonline.com
https://*.sharepoint.com

When I enter the url it gives me the same error.

My just choice is to become back to site at which point it takes me to my domicile folio of SharePoint.
I do not see the page you refer to about This is a page for clearing localStorage, etc....
And the two sites you lot take me add together to trusted sites are there.

The event could be caused by still having the tiptop level site collection on version 2010, while a new version of SharePoint habitation page"/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx" has been released, which is simply compatible with 2013.

Description
When the user is trying to access the new SharePoint dwelling page past clicking the SharePoint icon at App Launcher, the following error shows:
Mistake
An unexpected error has occurred.
Cause
SharePoint 2010 version is used for the top level site in the tenant.
The new SharePoint home folio https://organization.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx are but supported in the 2013 version site.
Action to fix the outcome
Follow the guide in Upgrade your team sites to SharePoint Online 2013 to upgrade the top level site.
NOTE
Earlier upgrading the site to SharePoint Online 2013, please understand the following points.
one. As the SharePoint Online Public Website feature is non supported at present, but the quondam public site still can be used, once you upgrade your site to 2013 site, the anonymous access to the upgraded site may be removed.
ii. The customized pages in the site may take compatibility bug, you may demand to rebuild or update them.
